A lot of public area in Hong Kong also provided installed with a lot of fences, such as parks, children playgrounds and public connaughts. However, these fences is not really important and necessary. There are several uses of these fences. Firstly, it is for divide the public area. It is clearly for the management of different government departments. Moreover, it is also for prevent people to cross over some areas, such as the lawn. Finally, the fences also for created the gateway in the park.  The fences block many direction and  just create some entrances. So the managers of the public area can manage the area more easily, such as close the park at night. In fact, some fences were useless in the day time.
